Synopsis:


On Saturday, September 4, 1994, Alford Ozell Jones was found shot to death in the street in the area of 1842 W. Olive St., Lakeland, FL.

Jones was apparently shot as he rode his bicycle home during the early morning hours.

The murder of Jones may be related to two other acts of violence, including another shooting, that occurred near where Jones body was found.

Moments after Mr. Jones was killed, a 47 year old man walking near the intersection of Grady Ave. and W. Hickory was shot by a man in a dark colored truck

The day before both of these shooting, there was another attack on a pedestrian that may be related.  A 70 year old man walking his dog on W. Highland Ave.  was beaten with a base ball bat by a white male who was driving a dark colored pickup truck.
