Synopsis:

During the early morning hours of December 22, 1997, Deputies responded to an orange grove West of CR. 557 on Old Lake Alfred Rd., Polk City in reference to a 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse that had been set on fire. Once the fire was extinguished, it was discovered that it contained human remains. The remains were identified as James “Jimmy” Cunniff of Winter Haven, Fl. Jimmy had been murdered, and then placed in the vehicle which was set on fire.

Jimmy was seen by friends late the previous night visiting a residence on 8th Street SW in Winter Haven, Fl.
